[attr="class","bsbody"]If you were searching for wolves in a city like New York, where else would you go but to Central Park? At least to her mind. Big city, you certainly wouldn't find wolves running loose in Harlem right? No, wolves are wild creatures, so the woods. It would almost be laughable how much she had to learn yet, if she knew. Unfortunately she was still pretty ignorant of all things supernatural. Hell, she only really knew that werewolves existed because she saw it, and was one. Something she still wasn't thrilled about and don't think she hadn't looked into how you could make silver bullets just in case. Fun fact, silver is too soft to make bullets out of. You could do some silver inside the bullet, but the casing has to be strong enough to handle impact and expulsion. Which meant not silver.
The thing was, she didn't know what she was looking for. A wolf? In broad daylight, with a new moon. Even she had better control than that. Maybe, it wasn't about control though. Maybe werewolves liked being wolves? The truth was she was only looking so she could get some answers. She didn't hold out hope for a cure, though she would ask. She had tried doing her own research, not easy to do when most people didn't even believe in werewolves. So she had a lot of movies, and books and websites of people that thought they knew what they were doing but sounded like a lot of crap given her own experiences. That was what brought her back to New York. Trace back her attacker and figure out who attacked him. Or how he contracted it. Was he born one? Could there be those born and those that got attacked like her? Yeah she had a lot of damn questions.
After walking the paths for a bit she realized maybe she should check the foot paths more. Looking through the brush for footprints that suddenly went animal, or small game that was recently killed. She was a city girl herself so this whole tracking thing was new to her, though she had noticed a major uptick in her senses so maybe she could smell a wolf? Thinking she might be on the right track she followed a scent until she ran into a dog park. Yeah, she was definitely new to this. Shoving hands in the pockets of her leather jacket she gave a nod to an older gentleman walking his schnauzer and headed away from all the dogs.
