isabelle lightwood, 19 & shadowhunter & weapons master & pansexual & single APPLICATION Isabelle is a shadowhunter, she's grown up having it instilled in her just how important it is to bring honor to her family and has mostly lived as a kind of disappointment. She's learned more about her family since then and what honor really is. FRIENDS Friends are very much like family to her. She loves them and protects them as if they were family. She enjoys making friends and there are honestly different levels of friendship, none being lesser so much as not as close. Not that she lets anyone really get close. There are those that are more connections and those that are like family. FOES Being a downworlder alone does not make you a foe. If anything, it's the destruction of downworlders or the hurting of those she cares about that puts you on this list. FANCIES She likes men, absolutely, but she has often used physical intimacy in place of real intimacy. The only person she got really close with she had to send away. RYDER LAW , 133 & WARLOCK & COMPOSER & BISEXUAL & SINGLE APPLICATION Ryder is a laid back kind of warlock. Magic is useful and fun and that's about it. He embraces the change that always comes and so doesn't really defend or protect much. FRIENDS Friends are great, they liven up parties, keep him entertained and as long as it's kept rather superficial, it's fine. If people become needy or want from him, well he moves on rather easily. FOES Very rarely does he have what some might call enemies. He takes little other than his music seriously and so it's hard to offend him, or vice versa. FANCIES Talent. Talent gets him every time. She's learning to deal with others like herself and how to be a part of something again. FRIENDS Comrades is more like it. Brothers in arms, people that are fighting alongside her and therefore taking the time to get to know each other and even relax some with each other. FOES She had a very black and white way of looking at the world and bad guys were just that, bad. She's figuring out it's not that simple and so may have to re-evaluate how enemies are made. GIDEON MONTEVERDE , 28 & SHADOWHUNTER & COUNCIL MEMBER & HETEROSEXUAL & MARRIED APPLICATION Gideon is a quiet man who thinks before he speaks or acts. He may not be the most spontaneous, but that doesn't mean he can't think on his feet. FRIENDS While he gets along with most he works with, there are few he would call friend. That would mean spending personal time together and really, why would you do that? There's work and there's family but he's never really made friends. FOES He isn't one to take things personal. His enemies are enemies of the Clave, of mundanes, of his work. He likes things simple. FANCIES His wife. He knew he felt more for her than just liking when he discussed marriage, even a kind of love.
